Where’s My F*ckin’ Bail Out: The Corporate Disconnect in America
by Khalif ‘Ras ‘ Williams
“The events which transpired five thousand years ago; Five years ago or five minutes ago, have determined what will happen five minutes from now; five years From now or five thousand years from now. All history is a current event.” - Dr. John Henrik Clarke [1]
As with all things related to current events the things we experience today is a result of our collective experiences of the past. In tackling the issue of the corporate disconnect in America the same rules would apply. Click image above for entire article.
Restoring the Reputation of Akhenaton by Khalif ‘Ras’ Williams
In this editorial introduction I wanted to discuss the defamation of the African male character in this look I am going to take at the Peraa’ Akhenaton. Many people have discussed the origins of Western religion in the religion of Atenism as created and propagated by Akhenaton son of Amenhotep III. This is an erroneous assumption at least to solely credit Akhenaton for the origins of belief in one deity. click image for articles

Demystifying Africa s Absence in Venezuelan History and Culture
In 1985, I made my first trip to the Republic of the Congo in search of information about Venezuela’s historical relationship with Central Africa. My purpose was to seek information to demystify the African, particularly the dominant Central African Bantu, presence in Venezuela in order to fill in the African absence in the construction of our national identity.[1] This was an important task since the official versions of Venezuelan history, akin to the histories of the rest of so-called Latin America, reduce Africa’s contributions mainly to drums and “witchcraft.” click image for article
African Presence in the Americas before Columbus
Traditionally history had been taught from a eurocentric point of view. The reason is the content of education, textbooks, religious teachings and the Bible itself had been controlled for 500 years by Europeans. Sometimes this point of view obscures reality. There were some recent finds which might indicate an error in our translation of history. Sometimes we are so reluctant to change our way of thinking that we need overwhelming evidence, far beyond a reasonable doubt. This article will attempt to lay the foundation for African presence in the Americas before the arrival of Columbus, not as slaves, but as explorers and traders and they were even leaders who helped to build the Olmec civilization. click image
Rastafari: A Return to the Roots by Ras Tyehimba
Rastafari as a spiritual way of life has been around long before the African Jamaicans of the Caribbean Islands resurrected these spiritual principles and created the more modern way of life we today call Rastafari. Sadly this is spiritual way of life is seen solely as a Jamaican invention by most. I would rather refer to it as what it is which is a continuation some of the most ancient spiritual teachings in Africa. Click image for article:
Democracy and African Traditional Wisdom by Grisso
One of my favorite articles outlining Democracy the way we know it and Traditional African societies how they operated and the truth of what democracy is African Style. These forms of information are what we can use to start implementing an African paradigm shift as far as utilizing the best of modern culture and the ancient to build a holistic African model of behavior and interaction with our brothers and sisters worldwide.
The African Origins of Chess by Joseph A. Bailey, II, M.D. & others
In Ancient Egypt, games were part of religious life. Their most popular game was Senat in which counters, or markers, were moved around a game board. Winning the game came by one player removing all of his/her pieces before the opponent did (Hawass,Tutankhamun, p235). A wall painting on the tomb of the Egyptian queen Nefertari, wife of Ramses II (1304-1237 BC), shows her playing Senet. It symbolizes the struggle between good and evil as well as stands magically for rebirth and resurrection. The African games known as Mancala or Wari are among the oldest games, dating back at least to 5000 BC.
A Study of the Traditional Systems of African Servitude
The argument that slavery was a system endemic in Africa, to which the Atlantic Slave Trade was simply incidental, was one that was used by anti- abolitionists, slave traders and later Eurocentric historians in an attempt to justify chattel slavery in the Americas and downplay the damage done to the African continent and its indigenous societies by European capitalist intervention.

The Seventy-Seven Commandments poster, also known as the Great Book of Divine Ordinances: The Code of Human Behavior, contains all seventy-seven commandments given to humanity by the Gods. The Sidereal Calendar by Master Naba
This is the Calendar that I have been following for years now and the only country still following this calendar is Ithiopia the mother of Kmt. Modern Egypt has shunned this calendar to follow the ways and culture of the West today. The Ithiopian Calendar basically Xtianized the ancient Nile Valley original Sidereal Calendar and made the holy days Xtian as well. Here is a more detailed treatise on this most accurate form of time measurement by one of my teachers Naba LaMoussa Morodenibig may you rest well iternally:
Ethnic Pride Can Boost Teens’ Mental Health According To Study
After studying more than 250 Black adolescents, all of whom hail from stereotypical Black surroundings, researchers discovered that raising youths’ feelings regarding ethnic pride around the 7th and 8th grades, resulted in significantly higher mental health while raising their self-esteem above the norm.
Loss of Indigenous Languages and the Politics of Endangerment by Salikoko S. Mufwene
This is an important article on the loss of indigenous languages and the far reaching implications of the loss of indigenous languages. This in my opinion is directly connected to the loss of ancient indigenous knowledge of medicine, history and sciences. We are losing entire parts of our collective human history with every indigenous ethnic group that goes extinct or when their languages go extinct because of the deaths of the elders in the community. The Failure of Haile Selassie by Hon. Marcus Garvey
Many Rastafarians call Marcus Garvey the prophet of the movement because he predicted the rise to power of an Ithiopian Emperor who he said was to lead the Black Man to liberation. Many Rastas don’t know Garvey had serious issues with Selassie and his behavior and well as mistakes he made while in power. Dr Ben in the past also spoke of how disliked he was by some of the ethnic groups in Ithiopia he ill treated while in power. This article is a paper written by Garvey himself addressing his gripes with H.I.M. Click image for article:
History of Dreadlocks by: Bouneith Inejnema Naba
Dreadlocks have become so much associated with Rastafarian culture, which is, in turn, associated with smoking ganga, that few people know the real roots and history of dreadlocked hair. What are the traditional origins and meanings of dreadlocks before modern Rastafari?
Easter: Origins in a pagan Christ by Corey Gilkes
Although Easter is a Christian festival, it embodies traditions of an ancient time antedating the rise of Christianity. The origin of its name is lost in the dim past; some scholars believe it probably is derived from Eastre, Anglo-Saxon name of a Teutonic goddess of spring and fertility, to whom was dedicated Eastre monath, corresponding to April. Her festival was celebrated on the day of the vernal equinox, and traditions associated with the festival survive in the familiar Easter bunny, symbol of the fertile rabbit, and in the equally familiar colored Easter eggs originally painted with gay hues to represent the sunlight of spring.
